Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. Who we are
scandigum.com and the Scandi Gum brand are operated by The Kybalion AB, a company registered in Sweden.
- Company reg. no. 559433-6785
- VAT no. SE559433678501
- Lindeborgsgatan 295, 215 81 Malmö, Sweden
- Email: support@scandigum.com. Our latest contact details are on our contact page.
In these terms, "Scandi Gum", "we", "us" and "our" mean The Kybalion AB. "You" means the person using our website or buying from us.
2. These terms
2.1 These terms apply to your use of scandigum.com and to every purchase you make from it. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to them.
2.2 These policies form part of these terms:
- our Subscription Terms;
- our Shipping Policy;
- our Refunds, Returns & Guarantee policy;
- our Privacy Policy.
If a specific offer has its own terms, those terms apply to that offer. If they conflict with these terms, the offer terms prevail.
2.3 Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live (section 14).
3. Who can buy
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. Our products are sold to consumers for personal and household use only, not for resale. We may refuse or cancel orders we reasonably believe are placed for resale, by a business, or in breach of these terms.
4. Our products
4.1 Our products are foods. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Information on our website, in our emails and on social media is general information. It is not medical or dental advice and does not replace the advice of your dentist or doctor. Individual experiences vary. Customer reviews and testimonials are the personal views of the people who wrote them.
4.2 Read the label and the product page before use, including the ingredients, allergens and warnings. Do not use a product if you are allergic or sensitive to any of its ingredients.
4.3 Scandi Gum (our original chewing gum) contains caffeine and is not recommended for children under 12. Warnings for our other products are shown on their product pages and labels.
4.4 Use our products only as intended and as directed on the label. We are not responsible for harm caused by using a product in a way it is not intended to be used, beyond the recommended amount, or against its label.
4.5 Product images are for illustration. Colours, flavours and packaging may differ slightly from what you see on screen. We may improve formulas and packaging over time. For subscriptions, see section 7 of our Subscription Terms.
5. Orders
5.1 When you place an order, you are offering to buy. The contract is formed when we send your order confirmation email.
5.2 Orders are final once created. Once your payment is processed and your order is created, it cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded, whether or not it has shipped. The only exceptions are those in our Refunds, Returns & Guarantee policy and any right the law of your country gives you that cannot be excluded.
5.3 We may decline or cancel an order, including after confirmation, if:
- a product is unavailable;
- the price or description contains an obvious error;
- we suspect fraud, unauthorised use of a payment method, resale or abuse of an offer;
- we cannot verify your identity or payment;
- we cannot lawfully or practically deliver to your destination, including because of sanctions, export controls or trade restrictions.
If we cancel an order, we refund what you paid for it in full, and we have no further liability for the cancellation.
5.4 We may hold an order for verification before shipping it. Processing times start once verification is complete.
6. Prices, offers and payment
6.1 Prices are shown in the currency of your store at checkout. Checkout shows whether they include VAT. Shipping costs are shown before you pay. Your bank may charge currency conversion or foreign transaction fees. These are between you and your bank.
6.2 We may change prices, offers and promotions at any time. A change does not affect an order already created. For active subscriptions, price changes follow section 4 of our Subscription Terms.
6.3 Unless an offer says otherwise:
- discount codes and promotions are limited to one per customer and household;
- they cannot be combined;
- they have no cash value;
- they may be ended or changed at any time.
If an offer is misused, for example through multiple accounts, addresses or payment cards, we may cancel the order, charge the full price, or close the account.
6.4 You must be authorised to use the payment method you provide. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at support@scandigum.com, because we can usually resolve it faster than your bank. If you dispute a valid charge with your bank, we will provide your bank with our records of your order, the terms you accepted and the delivery. We may suspend your account and any subscription while the dispute is open, and recover any amount found to be owed to us.
7. Subscriptions, shipping and returns
Subscriptions are governed by our Subscription Terms. Delivery, customs and import duties are covered by our Shipping Policy. Refunds, returns, our money-back guarantee and the EU/UK right of withdrawal are covered by our Refunds, Returns & Guarantee policy. You manage and cancel subscriptions in the customer portal.
8. Accounts and communications
8.1 You are responsible for keeping access to your email and account secure, and for everything done through your account.
8.2 We may suspend or close an account used for fraud, abuse of offers, abusive behaviour towards our staff, or a breach of these terms. Any active subscription will then be cancelled, and you will not be charged again.
8.3 You agree to receive order, subscription and service messages from us by email. Messages sent to the email address on your account count as received. Marketing messages are sent only with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
9. Using our website
9.1 You may use our website for lawful, personal purposes only. You must not:
- misuse it, interfere with its security or operation, or introduce malicious code;
- scrape, copy or republish its content;
- impersonate others;
- post unlawful or misleading content.
9.2 All content on our website belongs to us or our licensors. That includes the Scandi Gum name, logos, designs, text, images and videos. You may not use it without our written permission.
9.3 We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Our website may link to third-party sites and tools. We are not responsible for their content, products or terms.
10. Reviews and feedback
10.1 If you post a review, it must be your own genuine experience with the product. If you received anything in return for it, you must say so.
10.2 You give us a free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, edit for length and display your review, feedback, name or initials and any photos you submit with it, in connection with our business. We may remove content that is unlawful, offensive or misleading.
11. Our liability
11.1 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
11.2 Our products are sold for personal use. We are not liable for any business loss, such as lost profit, revenue or business opportunity.
11.3 We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (section 12), by carriers or customs after an order has left us, or by information you gave us that was wrong or incomplete.
11.4 To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
11.5 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where that would be unlawful. That includes liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- gross negligence or wilful misconduct;
- defective products under product liability law;
- your statutory rights as a consumer.
11.6 For customers in the United States and other countries where this is permitted: to the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content (not our products) are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties about the website's availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. This does not affect any warranty that applies to our products by law.
12. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for any delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. Examples include:
- carrier, postal or customs delays;
- strikes, natural disasters, epidemics, war or civil unrest;
- cyberattacks, or outages of our payment, hosting or software providers;
- supplier failure;
- government action, sanctions and changes in import rules.
If such an event lasts more than 30 days, either of us may cancel the affected order. We then refund any products that have not been delivered.
13. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, if you use our website or products in breach of these terms, or for resale or any other commercial purpose, you are responsible for any losses, claims and reasonable costs this causes us.
14. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be excluded by contract. Where a term conflicts with such a right, that right prevails, and only to that extent.
- EU and EEA: this includes your right of withdrawal and your legal guarantee of conformity.
- UK: your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Australia: the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Elsewhere: the consumer protection laws of your country.
15. Governing law and disputes
15.1 These terms, and any dispute about them or your purchases, are governed by the laws of Sweden.
15.2 If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. You may bring a claim in the courts of your country or of Sweden.
15.3 Consumers can also refer disputes to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, www.arn.se. We take part in ARN proceedings.
15.4 If you live in the United States, section 16 applies.
15.5 In all other cases, the courts of Sweden have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim at home.
16. Arbitration and class-action waiver (United States only)
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
16.1 Informal resolution first. Before starting any claim, email support@scandigum.com with your name, order number and a description of the dispute and the relief you want. You and we then try in good faith to resolve it for 60 days.
16.2 Binding individual arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved, you and we agree that it will be decided by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA). It will follow the AAA's Consumer Arbitration Rules, and its Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules where 25 or more similar claims are filed. The arbitration may take place by video or in your county of residence. Fees are set by those rules, and we pay our share on time. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.
16.3 Exceptions. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court, or ask a court to stop infringement of intellectual property.
16.4 Class-action and jury waiver. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. You and we each waive any right to a jury trial.
16.5 Opt-out. You can opt out of this section within 30 days of your first order by emailing support@scandigum.com with your name, address and the words "Arbitration opt-out". If you opt out, section 15.5 applies.
16.6 Time limit. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, unless the law of your state requires a longer period.
16.7 Severability. If the class-action waiver in 16.4 is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, and the rest of this section still applies.
17. Our platform
Our store is powered by Shopify. All sales are made directly between you and Scandi Gum. Shopify is not responsible for any part of those sales, including any injury, damage or loss resulting from products purchased.
18. Privacy
We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for valid reasons, such as legal, product or operational changes. The version published when you place an order applies to that order. We tell active subscribers about material changes as described in our Subscription Terms.
20. General
20.1 If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
20.2 If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
20.3 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another company, provided this does not reduce your rights. You may not transfer yours without our consent.
20.4 These terms and the policies listed in 2.2 are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of our website and your purchases.
20.5 These terms are written in English. If we provide a translation and it differs, the English version prevails, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
20.6 Sections that by their nature should continue after an order or account ends continue to apply. That includes sections 10, 11, 13, 15 and 16.
